Birthday Reflection's...

This is for anyone that is feeling tired, feared or embarrassed due to turning older or just everyday life…
As another birthday approaches I felt the need to reflect on my forties…
My forties have been engaging to say the least…
Laborious memories both professionally and personally…
In my situation feeling lethargic and fatigued was just the beginning of my transformation…
Not yet realizing what I was to experience; I still had a thirst for modification and not one ounce of fear…
My change ranges from pursing the crave for attending college, ending an eighteen year marriage,
departing from a twelve year career and a physical demeanor…
Along my voyage I have gained an exuberant amount of knowledge and prudence…
I have lost childhood friendships and new romances; fulfilled an arousal of excitement and adventure.
…And discovered my desire for tranquility, love and happiness…
My journey has not been easy nor is it completed but there are no regrets…
So all there is left to say is bring on FORTY-FOUR…

Giving Thanks...

My mother invoked a deep understanding of giving to me from a very young age... She said you should always invite a new person to your Thanksgiving Dinner... "ALWAYS ADVOCATE HOSPITALITY"
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday...
Thanksgiving is the glue that holds your family together for The Dan Gibbons Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning...
Thanksgiving is the magnet that has the family playing a family football game or watching football together...
Thanksgiving is the harness that allows the family to go around the table and relay what they are thankful for...
Thanksgiving is the bond that shares your invitation or plate to a stranger or someone with no plans...

I am thankful for my mom giving me a heart to share and for all I have in my life...

Sisters...

Sisters are different pieces to the same puzzle...
Sisters are connected daily without communication...
Sisters are loved without expression...
Happy Birthday my baby sister...

My photo
Forest Park, Illinois, United States
I attended Columbia College, Chicago majoring in Advertising Art and Fine Art… My passion for art provided the ability to work for the Forest Park Community Center and the Oak Park YMCA both teaching summer art programs... Something Artzee Designs Inc was developed in 2005; which has included jewelry and mosaic designs featured and sold in local boutiques... Although my creativity was focused on recycled pieces, Something Artzee as a company began with a jewelry line... Later mosaic and recycled pieces were implemented... Tynee Pieces by Artzee is a division of Something Artzee Designs Inc, and has excitedly decided to branch off to its own home of Tynee Pieces by Artzee in December 2011... What my focus is to create stunning bathroom, kitchen and mosaic furniture to enhance your homes beauty... I have the vision to expand in other areas such as writing quotes and lyrics; currently I am a staff writer for The Forest Park POST... I have many creative writing samples from over the years to elaborate from, my thoughts from all areas of experiences... I am also completing my BA in Sociology at De Paul University...
